Chase Grammar School

Chase Grammar School is a nurturing academic environment for students aged 3 to 19. Students from Prep School and Chase Grammar International Study Center come together on one campus to work hard, share knowledge, and have fun.

Since the Sisters of the Holy Rosary established the Convent School there in 1879, there has been a school there. Under new management, the school began offering courses to international students in 1996. Since then, it has developed a solid reputation as an international study center and boarding school, drawing in students from all over the world. In order to encourage day students to continue until the age of 18 for the new A-Level program, the school changed its name to Chase Academy and opened a Sixth Form Center. The school, which was initially dispersed among three campuses in South Staffordshire, undertook an expansion at its primary location by acquiring nearby land and properties when they became available.

The Chase Grammar School Oxbridge Program's objective is to holistically prepare students for applications to Oxford, Cambridge, and other Russell Group universities. This preparation includes not only academic excellence but also the development of students' critical, scholarly analysis, passion for their subject, and the specific interview skills required by these institutions. The program's guiding principle is that, while exam results are a crucial application requirement, the most successful candidates will have demonstrated their intrinsic interest in the field, will have started working at an undergraduate level, and will be able to articulate their ideas clearly and react positively to constructive criticism during interviews.

The Scholarship Program's main goal is to aid students in their preparation. As a result, they will have access to a variety of learning and extension activities that will help them deepen their understanding of the subjects they are studying. This program's guiding idea is that in order for kids to grow into true scholars, they must have the chance to acquire a variety of abilities that go well beyond what they learn in school.

The Scholarship Programme offers exceptional leadership and learning opportunities throughout wider school life while also aiming to develop outstanding applicants through personal development, skills coaching, top-notch instruction, and interview skills. Learning for the love of learning is highly encouraged, and the Oxbridge scholars should see themselves as members of a learning community who share ideas, push each other to succeed academically, and support one another. They will be "symposiasts," in the Classical manner, who sense the humor in education.

Additionally, every student at Chase Grammar School has a dedicated Academic Mentor who meets with them each morning.

In this tutor group, regular one-on-one tutorials are held with a focus on pastoral care and academic advancement. Working closely with teachers and senior staff, students are taught how to build these talents as they move up the Chase Grammar School individualized monitoring system from "Bronze" to "Silver" and "Gold."
