In Chislehurst, Kent, Farringtons School is a renowned independent, coed day and boarding school serving students from the ages of 3 to 18. With fourteen students, Farringtons opened on Thursday, September 21, 1911. After 100 years and significant growth, Farringtons today has 700 students, both boys and girls.Farringtons School is located in scenic Kent on 25 acres of parkland, but it is only 12 miles from the heart of London. Chislehurst may be reached by car in 5 minutes from the M25, by train in 20 minutes from Charing Cross and Waterloo stations, and by plane in 1 hour and 45 minutes from Gatwick and Heathrow, respectively. The school contains three board houses, a sizable sports hall, an indoor heated pool, a creative arts and technology building, ICT suites, science labs, a chapel, and renovated kitchen and eating areas.
Programs
Children can enroll in the Early Years Department at Farringtons School as early as age three. We invite kids to join us for an enjoyable, play-based examination. Farringtons School offers a comprehensive method of education: Farringtons School places a high priority on a child's emotional health. According to Farringtons School, children who are joyful are more likely to grow up to be successful and confident students. According to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) criteria, Farringtons School covers all seven areas of learning as well as much more. School Life

An integral part of the Junior School is Farringtons Interactive Zone (FIZ), which offers "wrap around care" for students in Pre-Reception to Year 7.
The majority of kids who attend FIZ Club do so on a regular basis between one and five days per week, allowing us to plan out our activities in advance and guarantee that the clubs continue to advance. Farringtons School can, however, also accommodate sporadic and emergency attendance.
The goal of FIZ Club is to offer a versatile and flexible extended school service in line with the principles, ethos, and aspirations of Farringtons School. Many students at Farringtons School receive instrumental or vocal instruction, which contributes to the school's rich musical heritage. Lessons are available for singing from Year 2 onward, piano and violin from Year 2 onward (Year 1 may be considered after a trial period), and all other instruments from Year 3 onward. Farringtons School offers instruction for students at all skill levels, from novice to expert. The Bromley Youth Music Trust (BYMT) provides Farringtons School with exceptionally outstanding Visiting Music Teachers (VMTs) who provide excellent instruction throughout the school day. The curricular time carousel schedules lessons at various times throughout the week so that no one misses the same subject too frequently.
Farringtons School regrettably cannot accommodate requests for sessions just during certain hours. Most lessons are one-on-one and last for 30 minutes. Paired lessons are possible, but only if there is another student with a comparable level of competence. It is required of all musicians and vocalists to engage on a weekly basis in school ensembles and in school plays and musicals.
Piano, Strings (Violin, Viola, and Cello), Woodwind (Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, and Saxophone), Brass (Trombone, French Horn, Baritone, and Tuba), Guitar (Acoustic and Electric), Drum Set, and Voice are among the instruments taught at Farringtons School.
