Beechwood School is a co-ed, independent day and boarding school with a Pre-Prep, Preparatory, and Senior School for children between the ages of 3 and 18. It is a dynamic, joyful institution with a clear mission where excellence and a passion for learning are fostered.

Less than an hour from London, Beechwood is located in the heart of Tunbridge Wells and is surrounded by 23 acres of gorgeous countryside. The school is housed in an opulent Victorian mansion designed to resemble Queen Victoria's Isle of Wight palace, Osborne House, and constructed in 1855.

The Pre-School is where your child's educational experience at Beechwood Pre-Prep begins. The Pre-School, which is located within the lovely grounds of Beechwood School, offers children a pleasant and supportive atmosphere where they can develop into their full potential as people.

Beechwood School is open 50 weeks a year from 8 am to 3 pm, with optional wrap-around care available from 7 am to 6 pm. This comprehensive program offers continuity for the kids and support for the families.

Beechwood School has a comprehensive curriculum for Key Stage 3 in order to give a balance that can inspire the skills of each student. The three fundamental courses—English, math, and science—as well as PSCHE, which is required for all year groups, are taught throughout Years 7 through 11, together with religion, physical education, and the other basic topics. Extended project qualification is referred to as EPQ. This level 3 qualification is provided by Beechwood as a stand-alone qualification. In order to be evaluated, students must plan, conduct research for, and complete a project of their own choosing. They must also present their work to an audience that is not a member of their field of study. 

The MUNGA, an annual event in Tunbridge Wells that seeks to as closely resemble a session of the United Nations General Assembly as possible, is open to sixth formers. Usually, three issues of current concern to the world community are discussed, with draft resolutions on each issue being presented and changed. Students serve as the President, Secretary General, chairs of committees, country delegates, press reporters, and Secretariat for the entire event that day. 

BTEC Nationals and Cambridge Technicals are the most generally accepted credentials for admission to higher education, along with A levels. School Life in Beechwood School

The children at Beechwood School are lucky to have access to a wide range of extracurricular activities and field trips. Sixth graders are encouraged to raise money to take part in World Challenge, which has previously transported participants to the Galapagos and South America.
