In East Hill, Ashford, Kent, there is a coed independent boarding and day school called Ashford School. There are 360 students in the prep school (ages 3 to 11) and 480 in the senior school (aged 11 to 18).

The United Church Schools Trust, which owns and operates the school, is a part of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference (HMC). Since September 2018, Michael Hall has served as the headteacher.

In 2011, Ashford School won a Good Schools Guide award and was chosen as one of the top five boarding schools in the nation at the Archant Good Schools Show. During an inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in 2014, the School received the designation of outstandingly successful in every category.

The children are given a home away from home at Bridge Nursery. Ashford School takes pride in encouraging children's natural curiosity and confidence through play and exploration. Ashford School offers a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere that attends to the needs of the entire family.

We provide exceptional childcare for kids aged three months to three years. Four primary rooms are available to kids, each of which is tailored to their age and developmental stage.

The Ashford School's classrooms are all furnished with materials that are suitable for the students' level of development, allowing them to take charge of their own education. Children are free to select the toys they would want to use each day, which enables us to encourage the development of new skills and deepen their interests.

AAlthough teachers at Ashford School urge students to be the best they can be, they also acknowledge that every kid learns differently. The objective is straightforward: to give every student the learning abilities that will make them enthusiastic and self-assured students.

The Prep School's Learning Support Department at Ashford School is made up of several Pre-Prep and Prep Teaching Assistants as well as Mrs. Alison Thomas, the SENCo, and Mrs. Leanne Royle, the Assistant SENCo. When a kid is recognized as needing further learning support, the team offers in-class and one-on-one support.

Numerous highly planned, sequential, cumulative, and systematic learning programs are used as additional help during individual and group classes. These cover a range of academic topics, including literacy, numeracy, emotional control, sensory processing, and physical development of the gross and fine motor abilities. In the mornings and during the school day, one-on-one support is provided. During this time, step-by-step interventions like WordShark and NumberShark, Touch Typing, Sensory Circuits, and Phonic Reading Schemes are administered.

In the Senior School at Ashford School, students are encouraged to be themselves, and academic independence, creativity, perseverance, and leadership are all praised.

There is always something new to learn, and fostering young adults who are self-assured and capable requires this more than anything else.Every child is encouraged to participate as much as they can in the co-curricular program, thus students in Years 7-9 participate in at least three activities each week. Students tend to be more adaptable as they progress through the school, and some Sixth Formers have even started their own clubs and organizations.Ashford School takes pride in "Celebrating Individuality" and works to ensure that all students' educational experiences and growth include a strong foundation in the creative and performing arts.
