In the English town of Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, there is a co-ed independent day and boarding school called Bromsgrove School. It was one of the 14 original members of the Headmasters' Conference and one of the first public schools in Britain when it opened its doors in 1553.
The three schools at Bromsgrove School, which offers both boarding and day students, are the pre-prep nursery school (for children ages 2–7), the preparation school (for children ages 7–13), and the senior school (13–18). Programs

Students in the Lower Sixth who are enrolled in A level and BTEC coursework are also required to complete an enrichment Core Programme. The purpose of this program is to give Lower Sixth students the chance to expand their knowledge and comprehension across a wide range of subjects. After the summer exam period, there will be a lecture week and a final extended project opportunity to promote independent learning. As part of the program, all students will have the opportunity to participate in debates and attend additional lectures that are similar to those at a university.

School Life
All Lower Fourth students work towards the Bromsgrove Badge, which offers a range of activities from public speaking, local history, and knowledge to campcraft, orienteering, and climbing. One of the first difficulties entails a strenuous map-reading exercise and a hike across the Malvern Hills.
