In Embley Park in Wellow (near Romsey), Hampshire, England, is where you'll find Embley School (previously Hampshire Collegiate School), an independent day and boarding school for both girls and boys aged 2 to 18.
The historic Florence Nightingale family home, Embley Park, was transformed into a residential school for boys between the ages of 11 and 18 in 1946. The school merged with La Sagesse Convent, an all-girls school with its headquarters in Romsey, in 1996.
After a second merger with The Atherley School in 2006, the institution changed its name to Hampshire Collegiate School and became a member of the United Church Schools Trust. A brand-new junior school was built thanks to a £14 million investment, which also expanded the senior school. The school's new name is Embley as of 2019.
